August 2016 Fab Bag Review: What The Chic Bag

With August Fab bag, I started my second Fab bag subscription. Last time was from December to February, a little disappointment that was with only two or three products standing up for their reputation. to be true, I was a little skeptical about starting the second one but with Geri G. products coming along, I couldn't resist. Without further ado, let's start with the August 2016 Fab Bag: What The Chic Bag Review.

Fab Bag

When i received my fab bag, it was in a very bad crumpled box. I hoped my products inside were in good condition. You can see, it seems like it has been trampled over several times.

However, everything was in perfect condition inside. They do not wrap the fab bag in any bubble wrap or protective layer to protect it from the troubles boxes face during courier. I hope they will pay head to this and pay attention.

Rest aside, the bag was an average looking one. My least favorite from all the bags that I have seen yet with Fab bag. It is purple ad black with Purple polka dots all over it. All the products were stuffed into this bag.  I think they do not do the fabpost anymore. I received 5 products out of which only one was full size, the Geri G. Innocent Foundation. Rest of them were sample sized ones.

My Take

I mostly avoid using new products on my face due to sensitive skin, but heard a lot about Geri G. foundation and its founder so I was dying to use it. To my hopes, it was flawless. It took me half a pea size dollop to get a smooth evened out skin tone. I have a clear skin, but a few minor pimple marks are there. Geri G. Innocent foundation covered them properly. It didn't made my skin dry at all. Moreover, I was sweating a lot with high humidity in Delhi but to my surprise, the foundation didn't disappear. As an advice, do use pressing powder or setting powder to set the foundation. Alsom it is animal cruelty free!

Pep Moisture Velvet Shampoo

This Pep Moisture Shampoo comes in a simple cute small flip transparent bottle which is quite convenient and travel friendly to use and the best part about this is it contains oat protein milk, which is something unique. I hope it will take care of my hair and not leave them dry and dead. As it seems, Fab bag has repeated this product in July Fab bag as well. I hope they will stop now!

Livon Serum

I have used Livon before as well. This is a good basic, decently priced hair serum. Not a miraculously transforming your hair to spa hair or something product, but getting rid of the frizz for a few hours and making it a little oily kind of serum. Good for dry hair, oily hair must avoid!

Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimenthiconol, Dipheynyl dimenthicone, C12-15 Alkyl benzoate, Tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E), Fragrance.

Now, the wait begins for the Septmeber Fab Bag 2016. Seriously, Fab Bag people need to perk up on their speed of delivery. If you are planning to order, be ready to wait for it for at least 10 to 15 days. Very slow!

Lots of Love!!!
XOXO
