How to Use

After essence, apply an appropriate amount over face and neck, then gently pat for better absorption. Apply it after you have cleansed your skin, applied toner or skin, and essence.

Packaging & texture

Although I really love how Innisfree put in extra consideration in designing their each and every product making it easy to use but this one, didn't qualify the mark. It comes in a beautiful dark blue bottle representing the seawater with a little opening on the top. My concern is that the bottle is very sturdy, you cannot press it. And the texture of the lotion is quite thick which does not come out easily. You will have to really work on the bottle shaking it for the lotion to come out in small quantities.

The texture might look thick, but the moment you will start applying, it becomes quite like jelly and is absorbed in the skin perfectly. If you have oily skin, take it in small quantity working your way around. Then Innisfree Jeju Lava Seawater lotion is quite hydrating. Due to its heavy texture, I will advise you to use it at the night time. You can check out my Korean 10 step night routine.

Pros

  • Very moisturising and hydrating
  • Helps in firming the skin over a period of use
  • Improves the texture of the skin
  • Contains natural essences and extracts such as seawater, orchid, green tea and so on
  • Little goes a long way
  • Gets absorbed in the skin well

Cons

  • Might be a bit heavy for people with oily skin
  • Not suitable for humid weather
  • A bit expensive
  • Contains artificial chemicals

I am looking forward to trying the rest of the range from the brand.
