Nail Art Designs That Made A Statement At Met Gala

Met Gala is one of the most awaited events of the year for fashion lovers and celebrities. Every year the event takes place with a new theme in which all the guests have to follow while dressing up, head to toe. This year's Met Gala 2018 theme was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”

Taking the theme very seriously, all the invited celebrities wore gorgeous biblical outfits carrying the look. Although it was nothing less than fascinating, all the nail art lovers were only looking for the looks these celebrities will be carrying on their nails. Here are some of my favourite nail art designs at the Met Gala.

Blake Lively

Celebrity manicurist Elle Gerstein created this metallic burgundy nail look with a crystal embellishment on Blake Lively. It matched her custom Versace dress perfectly, but no doubt took less than 600 hours to make.

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande's Vera Wang dress was inspired by the Michelangelo paintings in the Sistine her nails were, too. She carried off Sistine Chapel nails for the Met Gala 2018

Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid flaunted her nails with a milky gold manicure that complemented her gold makeup and the accents in her Chrome Heats gown.

Nicki Minaj

Leave it to the iconic "Barbie Tingz" singer to serve major nail art realness at the Met Gala. Ombré black-and-red with a cross appliqué was the perfect accent to her beautiful ensemble.

Gigi Hadid

Kawajiri coated the second half of the Hadid sister's nails in tiny gold crystals, which surrounded green-, red-, and gold-striped detailing, which matched her stunning Versace gown.

Janelle Monae

Manicurist Angie Aguirre created this graphic black, white, and glittery gold manicure on Janelle Monae.

Cardi B

Cardi B,s the most mesmerizing accessory to her angelic Met Gala look. Each nail was emblazoned with jewels and pearls making them nearly impossible not to stare at.

Lili Reinhart

Lili's were painted in a metallic rose gold and covered with gold leaf, which went along with the rest of her golden glam. She surely made a statement following the theme of Met Gala 2018, her very first Met Gala!

I hope you loved these looks too. Tell me in the comments below which one is your favourite?

Lots of Love!!!
