Here is a spring nail art inspired by the season's coolest prints. Up first: '70s florals.
Inspiration:
What you need:
- Deborah Lippmann Nail Color in Fade to Black, 12th Street Rag and I'll Take Manhattan, $18 each, deborahlippmann.com.
- Dolce & Gabbana Intense Nail Lacquer in Sole, $25.50, sephora.com.
- Londontown kur Protective Matte Top Coat, $25, londontownusa.com.
- striping brush
- dotting tool
Step 1: Apply two coats of black polish and allow the nails to dry.
Step 2: Use a striping brush and metallic pink polish to paint a cluster of four circles on the
index and ring fingers. On the remaining fingers, add half petals to the tips of the nails. Next,
use the striping brush to go over all the black areas with a matte top coat.
Step 3: Using quick, light strokes, paint a leaf across the empty space on the middle and pinky
fingers.
Step 4: Dot the center of the flower with yellow polish. Skip top coat.
