How to Use

Gently press the puff into the sponge and pat the product lightly onto the skin, starting from the centre your face and slowly moving outward. It's easy to touch-up throughout the day, building even coverage as you go.

Packaging and Texture

Missha Magic Cushion Compact SPF50+/PA+++ in shade Medium Beige 23 comes in a compact package with a separate place for the foundation formula socked cushion and the applicator sponge. it has a mirror so you can see while applying the cushion compact foundation. I really liked the applicator sponge, takes up a little product and gives an even finish. Being matte the formula tends to dry up pretty fast so I will advise that you apply it after putting some moisturiser or essence and turn off the fan. Otherwise, before you could work the foundation around your face it will dry up.

Pros

  • Concealing blemishes, discolouration, and dark circles
  • Visibly even skin tone
  • On-the-go coverage
  • Light, refreshing moisture
  • Quick & easy touch-ups
  • Little goes a long way
  • Has SPF50++
  • Did not broke me out
  • Easy to carry without spill
  • Waterproof to an extent
  • The sponge applicator is really nice

Cons

  • Limited shades for warm skin tones
  • Becomes a bit oily in humid weather
  • Doesn't last all day
  • Doesn't stay long with too much sweat
  • Dries up pretty fast
  • Not easily available
  • Too many ingredients

My Take

I feel that the brand has limited shades for people with dark and warm skin tones. I have fair skin tone, but even this medium shade product was not the best pick for me. It has cool pink undertones while I have a warm skin tone. It made me look ashy until I mixed it a bit with BB Cream while applying to even the tone. There is another option of Honey Beige and Golden Beige for warm skin tones, but they are a bit dark for me.

Apart from this, It is a good cushion compact and at this price, I m not even complaining. It has SPF50+ making it ideal for all-day wear for Summer which I really love. One single product is giving you the benefits of 2 products, making it a good choice. The texture is feather light, does not clog up your pores or make your skin feel heavy. I feel this is not the best pick for people with dry skin. It does not stay on for more than 4-5 hours on your face which is worst for people who sweat a lot, like me. It will wash away in no time.

Have you tried this? Do tell me all about it in the comments below!

Lots of Love!!!
