Putting on Makeup the Right Way

Putting makeup on can be really hard task for some people. It was a really difficult task for me never getting eyeliner properly and other stuff. Which product should I use first with which brush and so on. Watching all those makeup products has intimidated me and scared me. But I kept on trying and learning about the little things associated with makeup and the proper way to use them. So, to make your life easy here is the proper order which can help you to put on makeup properly.

1) Moisturiser
After cleaning up your face with a face wash applying moisturiser is the first step. Massage it into your skin, then give it few minutes to set before moving on to the next step.

2) Primer (face and eyes)

Primer holds your makeup in place for long time, so make sure it go before all other cosmetics.

3) Foundation
Give your face a smooth base with a light foundation that matches your skin tone.

4) Concealer 

Apply concealer to cover up any blemishes or spots that show through your foundation.

5) Bronzer


Brush bronzer across the places on your face that get hit by sun. Such as cheekbones, nose and forehead.

6) Blush
Highlight your apple cheeks with a blush, brushed over the bronzer.

7) Setting powder

Finally use it to set your face make up. Don't forget to apply it on neck and ears to match the tone.

8) Eyeshadow


Eyeshadow will cover up the eyeliner so make sure it's the first step in your eye routine.(try to dab eyeshadow rather than brushing it on)

9) Eyeliner
Apply your eyeliner in a smooth line over the eyeshadow.

10) Mascara


Mascara will only get in the way (and catch extra eyeshadow) if you apply it first. Save it for after the liner)

11) Brow liner or gel
Your brows should match the intensity of your eyes, So do those after you finish the rest of your eye makeup.

12) Lipstick 

Start your lips with even coat of lipstick or lip balm.

13) Lip Gloss
Finish off your pout with a shiny lip gloss.

14) Set makeup spray
Finish all your hard work by using setting makeup spray. Which will help you to look fresh for long time.
