Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence | Skincare Review

We all love a good skincare routine with products that are pure and without artificial ingredients. I have been a fan of Korean skincare for about 2 years now and it helped me get over the most severe acne issues that my sensitive skin has faced. I am still learning about all its aspects so trying new products and experimenting with skincare routine has been my thing for quite some time now. Here is this new Product from Natural Pacific that I recently tried. Phyto Niacin is a niacinamide and lemon extract serum that has a name for itself. Let's see how it faired for me!

About the Brand

Nacific Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence is an illuminating essence that contains moisturizing bamboo water to hydrate for dewy skin. It is a lightweight, non-sticky concentrate that evens out and brightens the skin for a radiant, dewy complexion. With niacinamide as its star ingredients, this product inhibits melanin production in the skin while still ensuring it's kept hydrated and soothed throughout it all. You'll be left with bouncy, glowy skin that's bright and supple to the touch.

Benefits:

  • Moisturizes and reduces pigmentation.
  • Formulated with bamboo water instead of pure water to efficiently deliver long-lasting moisture.
  • It contains niacinamide and lemon extracts to brighten dull skin for a flawless complexion.

How to Use

Use after toner. Dispense a moderate amount and apply it to the entire face. Gently pat for better absorption.

Packaging & Texture

I like skincare products that are clean not only in the formula but in the packaging as well. This one is loaded with the goodness of bamboo and comes in a chic clear bottle with a matte finish. The dropped makes it easy for you to take out the desired quantity and use it accordingly. Being clear you can easily tell how much product is left and control your usage with the dropper. I really like it.

Now comes the texture part. The texture is slightly watery which makes it easy for application. It is easily absorbed into the skin. Due to this watery texture, it is perfect for people with oily skin. Since it has Vitamin C as well, the scent is a bit sour, otherwise, it is pretty unscented. No artificial fragrances so it is safe for your sensitive skin.

My Take

This is my second niacinamide predict After Vitamin E mask by Dear Klairs and I have mixed feelings about this one. It is my first step after toning so yes, it is absorbed very well into the skin leaving no traces or oily film on the skin. It makes my skin look dewy and fresh with all the moisture, which I love. The product claims to help in whitening the skin as well as brightening it up by reducing the visibility of acne scars and pigmentation, any sort of discoloration on the skin. However, I did not experience a very drastic change in my skin.

Yes, there was brightening to a certain level, and a slight effect on pigmentation too but not something very huge. I used this product for more than a month in my morning as well as night skincare routine, but the effects were not lasting. Whenever I stopped using it, the pigmentation came back and my face looked dull. I don't like that about skincare products.

However, many claims that it gave them amazing results so maybe the essence was not cut out for my skin. Apart from this, there was a slight tingling sensation all over my face, whenever I applied it after exfoliating my skin or when I have one or two active acne. It was not so big but if your skin gets aggravated with vitamin C products or the ones with ascorbic acid, do a patch test before using.

Pros

  • Very slight brightening and pigmentation reduction
  • Makes skin glowy and dewy with moisture
  • Perfect for dry as well as oily skin
  • Gets absorbed well
  • It is not sticky at all
  • For a niacinamide and vitamin c essence, price is decent for the quantity
  • It lasts more than a month
  • The packaging is attractive and safe for travel
  • Does not get oxidized
  • Free from artificial perfume

Cons

  • Did not gave great results
  • Stings a bit
  • Smells sour and can be a bit irritating for some.
  • Not easily available

I hope you loved the review and will share your experience with me. Tell me if this essence worked for you or not!

Lots of Love!!!
XOXO
