Innisfree Bija Trouble Facial Foam New Review

If you are an avid Innisfree follower, you might have seen some of their old products relaunched this year. They have made changes to the looks and ingredient list of some of its popular foaming face washes such as Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore cleanser and Innisfree Bija Trouble Facial Foam. The brand has discontinued the old ones, so if you are unable to find them no need to worry, it is just the packaging that has changed and they are made better as per my opinion. Today I am here with Innisfree Bija Trouble Facial foam which is now available in a new Avatar. I have tried the old ones for both above-mentioned variants and will review both soon over here. For today, It is Bija Trouble facial foam.

Packaging & Texture

This new revamped Bija Trouble also comes in tube packaging but with a slight twist. The colours have been changed and not it is available in pastel powdery blue colour with a white flip to open cap. The tube is soft to touch and releases a small amount of face wash so that you can moderate the usage. The design allows you to carry it around easily in your bag without worrying about spilling.

The texture of the facewash is very creamy with pearly shimmer. It lathers up instantly creating soft foam in your hand. I prefer to create this foam first and use this to massage all over my face to clean. The facewash feels gentle on the skin and cleanses well. It has a slightly cooling effect which I really like. And the fragrance is relaxing and refreshing too.

How to Use

Squeeze onto clean hands and create a lather. Smoothly massage over the face and thoroughly rinse with lukewarm water afterwards.

My Take

I have a sensitive acne prone combination skin so it is essential for me to choose my first steps of skincare properly. I try several facewashes but keep coming back to my favourite few and this is one of them. The older version was also good for me with Bija or Torreya seed extracts, but this new version also has salicylic acid extracted from plant-based sources along with lactic acid and other such ingredients helping to reduce acne breakouts and heal the ones you already have faster. It is very foamy and helps in cleaning the skin gently. It removes traces of makeup and sebum completely without drying out the skin. The best part is that it is gentle on skin which is essential if you have acne-prone skin as anything harsh can make your skin angry causing new breakouts. I love how it makes my skin feel cool and calm with its cooling properties. You will need just a small amount of facewash

Pros

  • Contains salicylic acid, lactic acid and bija extract for acne
  • Very gentle on skin
  • Cleanses very well removing makeup and sebum
  • Lathers up well
  • Does not dry out the skin
  • Little goes a long way
  • Cooling effect relaxes the skin

Cons

  • Not available easily, only on Innisfree stores
  • Price can be a factor

I will try other products from this new range and will share them with you soon. If you have tried this one, share your thoughts with me on this in the comments below!
