Iba Breathable Vegan Halal Nail Polish & Polish Remover | Swatch & Review

I have never tried a breathable and halal certified polish so when Iba contacted me for their halal polish range, I was super excited. the brand claims these polishes to be breathable, air and water permeable. They are also 12 Free making them something special.  They sent me 5 colors, 1 top coat, and one remover. Please read the blog till the end for all the products. I have swatched them and shared my personal opinion, totally unbiased!

Plum Cake

This is a gorgeous mauvish purple kinda shade. This plum shade has warm undertones that look gorgeous on nails. It has a creamy texture and settles on nails easily. Quite pigmented, but 2 coats make it look better. You do not need a top coat on it and it stays put on nails for about 4-5 days. However, if you wash your hands several times or do house chores, it might not last more than 3 days.

Pristine Black

A smooth-looking blackest black. This creamy black has my heart. It looks gorgeous on nails and stands out. The texture is smooth and settles on nails. Two coats are enough for a beautiful finish!

Ultraviolet 

This is a vibrant violet shade with cool undertones. You need 2 coats for a smooth look. It has a shiny glossy finish and looks beautiful on nails. Perfect for nail art designs.

Red Velvet

It is a warm coral-ish red that literally glows on nails. The applicator is great and gives a smooth finish. I love the texture which is creamy and glossy. Lasts about 3-4 days if you do not work or wet your hands a lot. 

Aqua Swirl

This is a turquoise blue kinda shade, somewhat light teal. Has a creamy formula and dries up quickly. Very pigmented but you need at least 2 coats for a shiny look. Do not chip for at least 4 days.

My Take on polishes

They are all very smooth and glossy. You will not need a top coat for them. However, since they are air and water permeable, the lasting is affected due to that. I do my house chores and wash utensils sometimes. This made the polish chip off or the entire layer comes off like those peel-off polishes. without this, it does last for about 3-4 days and stays shiny till the end.

It is a breathable top coat that can be used as a base coat as well. I like how it is quick-drying and settles on nails so well. However, it tends to smudge certain polishes while using nail art.

My Opinion

I have never found a nail polish remover that moisturizes as well as removes plish quickly. However, this one seems to have done that. I am not saying this because it is a PR or I need to praise the brand. But, I genuinely loved their products. It has a subtle scent to it and my nails seem to be moisturized after I have used it. You can see in the above image, how my nails are shining. For glitter polishes, you need a bit more product as compared to regular polish. But this will not dry up your nails.
