I love adding beautiful colors to my bedroom. Since this is the place where I spend most of my time while working from home, I want it to be cheerful. And bedsheets are my way of doing it. Finding vibrant colors, and matching them with cushions for that ultimate happy feeling. In today's blog, I will review this cotton double bedsheet by World of EK. Eco- friendly packaging
This bedsheet came in 100% recyclable packaging which I loved about it. Pushing eco-friendly and natural concepts so it was an excellent idea. It was packed nicely in a potly-style cotton bag. you can use it later as well for storing something.
Fabric quality
They have used 100% cotton with a 120 thread count. So, this bedsheet is soft and comfortable. It does not make you feel too hot when you sleep on it. The brand claims to use natural dye in it, which looks super vibrant right now. However, until I wash it first, not sure about the color-fastness or if it bleeds or not. I will inform you about it after the first wash here. Due to the 120 thread count, this bed sheet does not slip off the mattress like many soft bedsheets. So, you can roll over on it as much as you want without worrying about anything.
Pillow Covers
Pillow covers are my biggest concern when buying bedsheets. I want the enclosure to either to have a zip or a large flap so it is closed nicely. And this one indeed has what I want. I am sure if you are a homemaker, you will understand the woes of the pillow cover opening on one side due to short flaps. My pillows are 27 x 16 inches (68.6 cm x 40.64 cm) and they fit perfectly on these covers. They have a smaller version of the print on the bedsheet and look beautiful.
My views
Overall, it is a very nice bedsheet. Cotton bedsheets tend to lose some color and shrink a bit after the first wash. So I am yet to find out about it. Will inform you when I wash it. the colors are very beautiful and feel soft to sleep on. For this price, I think it is a decent bedsheet. World of EK offers many other bedsheets, but most of them are white with colored prints all over them. I hope the brand will include other colors as well along with white.
About delivery, it was pretty quick I say took about 4 days to reach me.
