Innisfree Camellia Essential Hair Oil Serum Review

Hey, cuties!

While taking care of our skin and nails, we often forget about the hair. Well, you are not the only one, I am also guilty of this. Using the same shampoo for years and the same products for months can cause product buildup, making our hair dull and lifeless. You might also have been facing the problem of split ends, breakage and hair fall caused by chemical buildup. My mother used to suggest several homemade remedies, but taking out time for them is nearly impossible for me and all the so-called organic hair range often makes my hair dry and frizzy. I often change my shampoo to avoid product buildup or to get rid of it, but hair serum I something that I never change. So today I will share my favourite hair serum with you that has saved my hair from the worst of the worst split end crisis... Innisfree Camellia Essential Hair Oil Serum.

Cost
Rs. 860 for 100ml

Ingredients

Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Isododecane, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Glycolipids, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Fragrance

I know right!! It has to be good when it has so fewer chemicals or ingredients in it and actually in a base of Camellia oil.

How to Use

Pump about 2-3 times and apply all over towel-dry hair after shampooing, especially ends of the hair. Although it says hair oil, avoid applying it on the scalp otherwise it will make it oily. This is a serum and should be applied on hair and tips only, not the roots.

Packaging & Texture

This serum comes in a cute looking red bottle with a pump dispenser and a cap on it. The pump dispenser helps in taking out the right amount of the serum and cap protects it from dust and dirt. Innisfree Camellia essential hair oil serum has a beautiful floral fragrance which does not really stay in the hair. The consistency is also quite perfect; it is neither thick nor thin and spreads easily on damp hair. For me, 2 pumps are enough to cover my long length hair. It does not feel oily, sticky or greasy as it gets absorbed easily by my hair. It does help in reducing frizz and taming the hair to a great extent if your hair gets tangled a lot. My hair remains soft and manageable for at least 3 days after hair wash and serum application, after which they become oily and need another wash.

Pros

  • Very attractive travel-friendly packaging
  • Gentle and non-overpowering floral scent
  • Consistency is just right
  • Gets absorbed quickly
  • Non-sticky and non-greasy
  • Detangles hair making them manageable
  • Makes hair silky and soft, controls frizz
  • Little goes a long way
  • The texture of the hair is improved

Cons

  • A bit pricy
  • Fragrance doesn't stay for long
This is the best hair serum so far for me. I use it every time after washing my hair, towel dry them and take a little bit on your palm, rub it between the palms and apply it gently on your hair. Once it is done, I take one more pump and apply the serum on the tips of the hair. It has helped a lot in reducing the breakage while combing and managing my hair. Even the split ends have also reduced significantly.

If you are worried about split ends, using just the product will not help. I go for a little trim every 6 months and apply the serum on tips so that it doesn't break while combing. it helps in controlling split ends.
