Perfect Organic Skin Care: Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Review

Recently I got an opportunity to be a part of the biggest blogger event held in Delhi by Markitiers and Blossom Kochhar.

It was such an amazing event. I met with so many new people, interacted with bloggers and learned new things about the industry too. For someone who has just started out in the blogging industry, it is really a great opportunity to learn and mingle. Well, for me the best part apart from all this was the Blossom Kochhar hamper that we received. I am a big fan of Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic range and have tried several of her skin care products.

Let me clarify it, this is not a paid review.

I got Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Sunlit Spray, Aroma Magic Nourishing Hand Cream, Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel and a Sample of Aroma Magic Lavender essential oil. Let's check out how they were...

Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Sunlit Spray

According to the Brand

It is 100 % free of oxybenzone, paraben, harsh chemicals, alcohol and artificial fragrance. All-mineral, water resistant formula creates a physical barrier between you and the sun. It is non greasy, skin friendly and enriched with hempseed, rosemerry and macadamia oils. They provide natural sun safety, Vitamins B5, C, E and prevent visible signs of ageing. Notes of lavender, chamomile and helichrysum essential oils revive and protect your skin. The non-nano Zinc Oxide in it is a mineral reflector found in nature that scatters harmful rays. Moringa extracts rejuvenate the skin and provide smart sun protection.

How to use
Shake well and spray it generously 15 minutes before sun exposure and it can revive your sunscreen for desired protection. Distribute evenly for a great, light after-feel. Reapply every two hours or when you break out in a sweat. It is a perfect complement to your daily make up routine too.

I was a bit skeptical about using this one coz it is white in color and you have to work your way through it to make it absorb in the skin. I preferred using it before putting on any makeup, coz after that blending is a major task. You can use it on your body without much hassle. Instead of spraying on entire body, spray on particular parts and spread it by massaging gently. It is spreads evenly and is easily absorbed too. However, what I find that it might make your facial skin oily a tad bit.

It says it has SPF 40 but I have not stepped out in the sun that much to ensure its effectiveness on preventing tanning. Mind you, I tan very badly...

Pros

  • Easy to use spray bottle packaging.
  • Easy to carry around
  • Spreads evenly
  • Little goes a long way
  • Toxin and paraben free
  • Did not break me out
  • SPF40 is a good number for sun protection.

Cons

  • Can make facial skin oily
  • Price can be a factor for some
  • Will take some time to adjust to spraying and using
  • Not water proof
