Matrix Biolage Advanced Fiberstrong Shampoo: Review

I am in pursuit of finding the best shampoo for my hair, giving a try to several popular brands since past few months. I believe that if a shampoo has to work, it will show results in 2-3 weeks with regular usage. If not, it is not meant for your hair.

After hearing a lot about Matrix shampoo range, I thought of giving a try to the Matrix Biolage Advanced Fiberstrong Shampoo with bamboo extract and ceramide. Lets go ahead with the review!

According To The Brand

Fragile hair may be prone to breakage and unmanageability. Biolage FiberStrong Shampoo was formulated to target these needs with the power of Intra-CylaneTM plus bamboo and ceramide for repairing damaged, fragile hair. When used with the FiberStrong Conditioner and Intra-CylaneTM Fortifying Cream, your hair is stronger and more conditioned. Strengthen weak, fragile hair. 12X stronger after one application*.

*When using the system of FiberStrong Shampoo, Conditioner and Intra-CylaneTM Fortifying Cream vs. a non-conditioning shampoo.

  • Paraben free shampoo cleanses hair, leaving it healthy looking and resistant to damage

I loved the packaging a lot. It comes in a greyish silver cylinderical bottle with green flip top. Looks quite sturdy and very easy to hold in hand. It is a 200ml bottle but does not seem bulky. My take

I have been using Matrix Biolage Advanced Fiberstrong Shampoo for about 3 weeks now. Although it requires conditioner after washing but it did helped my hairfall problem. I have normal hair which sometimes can be a little oily on the scalp and dry towards tips. Matrix Biolage Advanced Fiberstrong Shampoo does not lather much but it does washes hair nicely. i could see visible difference in my hairfall problem. Also, it has a thick consistency which can make it last for a long time. I wash my hair about thrice a week and it still has a good quantity left. Also, it's a Paraben Free Shampoo!

Pros

  • Sturdy packaging
  • Travel friendly
  • Reduces hairfall and breakage
  • Cleans well leaving hair fresh
  • Fragrance lasts for about 2-3 days
  • Little goes a long way.
  • Cost is low as compared to other specialised hair treatment products.
  • No parabens

Cons

  • Fragrance might be a little overpowering for some.
  • Cost might be a factor for some
  • Conditioning is must. Leaves hair a little dry.
