Garnier Ultra Blends Shampoo: Royal Jelly & Lavender Review

For those who don't know, I prefer to keep changing my shampoos in every 3-4 months. This trick helps me to avoid product build up which is quite normal with hair products also allowing me to discover a perfect shampoo which I can repeat in the cycle. after using OGX or Organix Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy shampoo I am currently indulging in aromatic therapy of Garnier Ultra Blends shampoo and conditioner range.

Garnier Ultra Blends range contains 5 natural blends for different types hair and needs. Customised for indian hair and hair problems, Garnier Ultra Blends range is available in five variants: Royal Jelly & Lavender, 5 Precious Herbs, Henna & Blackberry, Soy Milk & Almonds, and Mythic Olive

I have started with Garnier Ultra Blends Royal Jelly & Lavender Anti-hairfall shampoo since due to hot and humid monsoon season my hairfall problem became quite severe.

The fragrance of the shampoo is refreshing and soothing. At the end of the day, it is my own aromatic therapy spa time with the shampoo taking away all the tiredness from day!

Product Claims

As per the description on the bottle, the shampoo is for breaking hair which are prone to fall. The shampoo will strengthen hair thus reducing hairfall.

Ingredients

Here is a closeup version:

Cost 175 ml for Rs. 120

I think the cost is quite fine with the given quantity. Moreover, you do not require a lot of shampoo while washing your hair. I have long hair and the product gives a nice lather with small quantity.

Benefits of Royal jelly and Lavender

Paraben free

Unlike most shampoos and hair products available at this price, Garnier has launched a range which is Paraben free. However, it does have alcohol which can cause dryness. I have normal hair so I cannot say if it has drying effect or not. It left my hair quite smooth and silky even though I didn't used any conditioner.

Packaging

It has a beige and golden packaging. The shape and size of the plastic bottle makes it quite travel friendly. Also the flip top is firm and closes properly keeping any spills or drips at bay.

My Take

It has been just 3 weeks since I started using the shampoo. I am not using any conditioner with it still the shampoo does not have any drying effect on my locks. However, it might cause a little dryness for people with dry hair.

I don't have very bad hairfall but the seasonal hairfall which happens with everyone during monsoon season. the shampoo did had a little effect on it. In 3 weeks I noticed a significant change in fall.
