DIY- Rainbow Zebra Gradient Nail art tutorial

I love ombre nail art with a tad bit of stamping. Stamping makes doing nail art very easy especially for the beginners so if you are also in love with nail art do try out this look i came across on instagram!

Things you will need to get this look are

🌈 White undie – White on White by China Glaze

🌈 Yellow – Under The Blacklight Color Club

🌈 Blue – Meet Me At The Rink Color Club

🌈 Purple – Diggin’ The Dancing Queen by Color Club

🌈 Black – Black Noir by Bundle monster

🌈 Stamp Plate – Time Traveler Plate Collection – Back to The 80s 02 by Moyou London

🌈 Top coat – HK Girl Top Coat

🌈 Studs – ebay

Steps for nail art are:
1. Paint a white base, I used 2 coats of White on White. I added quick dry top coat HK Girl, but you can skip it and just let dry.
2. Using a latex free make-up sponge, paint stripes of polish onto the sponge. I used Under The Blacklight, Meet Me At The Rink, and Diggin’ The Dancing Queen.
3. Sponge onto nail, I like to start with a roll back and forth technique. Remember! Layering is important! Take your time, roll the sponge back and forth just a couple times and let dry before sponging again otherwise the sponge will take up the wet polish. I think I did about 6 layers here.
4. I blend the colors by doing an up and down chevron pattern. Add top coat, this helps blend the gradient.
5. Stamp zebra pattern, I used Black Noir and Time Traveler Back to The 80s 02 plate.
6. You can add top coat over the stamping but I prefer the look of the matte stamping against the top coat beneath.
7. Add black 2mm square studs.
8. Admire Rainbow Zebra!
